TechTarget is seeking a Desktop Support Administrator for our London office whose primary responsibilities will include laptop installation/repair, remote employee support, and ticket management through our web-based ticket system. The Desktop Support Administrator will also participate in maintaining systems that require high availability. The position reports to the Director of Corporate Systems. The ideal candidate will be customer focused with a strong ability to problem solve.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Configuration and deployment using Intune for Windows 11, MAC OSX and other platforms.
  • Installation and working knowledge of a variety of software applications;
  • Remedial training for end users;
  • Hardware support and RMA management using our Dell Premier service;
  • End user support for a 1000 user office and our remote offices.
  • Maintaining hardware and software inventory
  • New account setups and deployments.
  • Miscellaneous Office 365 tasks.
  • Project responsibilities as assigned.
  • Cell Phone and Mobile Device management,
  • Office AV support
  • Ordering laptops and other hardware

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

  • 1-2 years of desktop support experience;
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server environments;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proven trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to relate to end users like they are customers;
  • Must have experience with the following: Windows 10,11, Smartphones, MS Office applications ;
  • Experience with the following platforms is a plus: MS Windows Server 2012-2019 Server; Azure cloud and Exchange online are a plus
  • Skills in the following technologies/areas are also desired: Antivirus/Malware Applications/Tools; PowerShell Office 365; Box; Salesforce; Macintosh; Unix/Linux; wireless networking;DNS; DHCP; Zoom; Adobe Cloud; Windows ODBC connections; VPN clients;
